The Opportunity

As a founding member of Kanary, you’ll have the opportunity to imagine and build products that make a real difference in people’s safety and wellbeing. We need new tools and services to protect ourselves and our loved ones from an increasing number of digital threats. Remove & Monitor, Kanary's first product, scans the internet, manages take down requests, and makes sure private personal information actually stays private. This is just the start. Come help us redefine how people interact with websites, companies, and each other.

Compensation

Generous, competitive salary and employee-friendly equity in Kanary.

Location

We’re remote. Our team was forged during a global pandemic. Being a remote team has been and will be an advantage as we hire exceptional people and tackle more complex global privacy challenges.

Team

As a founding member, you’ll be a core part of our team and shape our culture. We collaborate, move quickly, try not to break things, and help each other do our best work. We don’t take ourselves too seriously and trust each other to manage our time effectively. Once health restrictions allow, we’ll coordinate in person meet ups so we can collaborate IRL and compare height differences.

Investors

We’re venture-backed. 2048 Ventures (Alex Iskold) and First Star Ventures (Drew Volpe) are our primary investors. They support our commitment to challenge the status quo, defend privacy, and build a better internet. Our other investors and advisors include mission-aligned leaders from DuckDuckGo, Mozilla Firefox, Datadog, and Github.
